Information exchange between CAD- and ERP-System based on leading industry standard XML.

Goal

An automated workflow and seamless application integration that allows a bidirectional information exchange between ERP- and CAD-System. A ruleset for this data exchange only needs to be administrated on the ERP-System to minimize maintenance effort.

Result

Our solution was available in a productive environment within one week by using the leading industry standard XML. With implementation of the new interface effort to input data manually and the overall number of faulty inputs was reduced dramatically. Our customer gets a return on investment for this solution within a few months by reduction of faulty orders.
